Mount Bachelor Community Inc. Leadership, Elected Officials, and Key Local Stakeholders to Rally in Support of Mt. Bachelor Community Ownership

Mount Bachelor Community Inc. (MBCI) Co-Founders Dan Cochrane and Chris Porter will convene a group of prominent local elected officials and community leaders for an on-the-record rally on Saturday, October 12 from 3-5 PM in Bend, OR in support of MBCI’s efforts to acquire Mount Bachelor on behalf of its community.
Collectively, these individuals will highlight the resort’s role as a key driver of Central Oregon’s regional economy, the mountain’s symbolic value as a natural and recreational treasure, and why MBCI’s mission represents a once-in-a-lifetime opportunity to ensure Mount Bachelor is stewarded in alignment with its community’s interests in the long term.

The event follows a highly successful first month of activity by MBCI, including a GoFundMe campaign that achieved 100% of its fundraising goal in one week – and over $39,000 to date –  to fund essential legal and compliance services supporting the organization’s acquisition efforts.
