August 25, 2022 – US Census – Deschutes County’s population grows by nearly 29% since 2010, double that of Portland area. Crook County (21.5%). Jefferson (14.6%). Central Oregon’s counties have been three of the four fastest-growing in the state since 2010. Within Deschutes County, the city of Bend grew nearly 30%, from 76,639 residents in 2010 to 99,178 in 2020, according to the data. The city of Redmond grew 27%, from 26,215 residents in 2010 to 33,274 in 2020. As of 2024, the City of Bend is now 106,000 residents strong.
