Central Oregon’s Smith Rock has long been considered a birth place of sport climbing. In the 60s and 70s, locals like the Ramsey brothers, Alan Watts, and others put up hundreds of routes; placing Smith Rock on the map as a sport climbing Mecca, and arguably one of the top five sport climbing destinations in the world. In this video we connect once again with Recreation Leader and climbing junkie, Trevor Christianson, for spring climbing at Smith Rock State Park. Smith is a special place. It has an energy about it.
