Welcome Swan Song Vintage A New Business In Downtown Redmond

I’ve had a love for fashion and interior design from a young age. Searching for vintage items at flea markets, garage sales or thrift stores was a way to find unique but budget friendly items to wear and to decorate my home. My online business was a great way for me to earn extra money for my family, it helped put my son through college and most recently enabled me to work from home while caring for my elderly mom.

Hard to pick just one but two stand out; once I found an engraved heart charm bracelet that had been sewn into the lining of an old coat that read “To Essie from Jay” (forbidden love??) I tried for a long time to find the family of the owner but was unsuccessful. I sold the coat but still have the bracelet. The other memorable find was a 1960s couture Givenchy dress found at Goodwill of all places!!

Not particularly. I feel there are design styles to love from every era. I think if you visit my shop, you will see that I have an eclectic mix of items from every decade.

I’m definitely inspired by nature. If I’m feeling stuck I try to get outside for a hike or work in the yard. I’m also really inspired by old fashion magazines and design books.

I started Swan Song Vintage online 13 years ago and am VERY excited to now have a physical shop location downtown to better connect with our wonderful Redmond community!
