You may not have even heard of this preserved piece of land in Central Oregon. Maybe stop at the Sisters Bakery and a coffee on your way. He lives in Bend and is a graduate of Oregon State University – Cascades earning his degree in Tourism and Outdoor Leadership. He’s and avid outdoor enthusiast and loves the beauty of Oregon’s natural places.  He especially loves fly fishing Central Oregon’s rivers. His many talents include marketing freelancer, photographer, fly guide, and storyteller.     This Friday October 12th you can do the Cycle/TRX workout, raise money for JDRF, listen to Live Music from ‘Toothpick Shaker’. Food and Beer provided.

    This is a great cause hosted by JoyCycle. The cycling/TRX workout will kick your bottom in a healthy and fun way – sign up fast; only 40 spots.     The Oregon Natural Desert Association (ONDA) does some great things in Oregon and Friday they present The “Wild and Scenic Film Festival”. Come see where epic adventure and environmental advocacy meet at ONDA’s annual Wild & Scenic Film Festival. Join us for an evening of short films showcasing our earth’s natural wonders, feats of courage and athleticism, and the amazing stories of activists working to protect our environment.

  • Deschutes & Whychus Creek River Clean-Up Saturday Sep 29th

    This Saturday Sep 29th is a great opportunity to give back to a couple of our local rivers. The Oregon Lottery joins SOLVE to host cleanup events at 18 Oregon state parks. A tradition since 1984, more than 5,000 volunteers come together to clean beaches and riversides as part of the International Coastal Cleanup and National Public Lands Day. More INFO HERE!

  • Bend Trail Series - September 27

    Tomorrow Sep 27th at 6pm.  The Fall edition of the Bend Trail Series includes four races at different trailheads around Bend. Each race is a different distance, ranging from 4 to 7 miles. The courses are unveiled the Monday before each race.

    Save some money and sign up for the whole Series for $70. You can sign up for a single race each evening for $20, if there is space available. More INFO HERE!

    We host an awards party at 10 Barrel Eastside immediately following the final race and have lots of prizes and awards.

    Monday September 17th Pine Mountain Sports is hosting an evening for the Dirt Divas to celebrate another year of riding together. There will be an End of Season Party in the movie theater and a showing of Moksha at McMenamins Old St Francis School. The 30-minute film highlights a group of mountain bikers in Nepal who want to grow the number of women in the sport.
