Packrafting allows a new way of experiencing the wilderness. We hike boats in, and paddle out. The Minam River wilderness run is in North Eastern Oregon, a 13 mile hike in, 40 mile boat out. Read more about the adventure here.

We got to hang with the Cog Wild crew for an evening ride west of Bend as they got a tour of the Deschutes Collaborative Forest Project with Nicole Strong (OSU Extension Service) and Pete Caligiuri (The Nature Conservancy).  We learned about the restoration project that is happening in the forest of Central Oregon.  A featured video is coming to tell that story. In the meantime, there was a little fun to be had while on the tour. Get out there and enjoy the weekend people!!!
