USFS Trail Closures Shift to Storm King & Grand Slam

The USFS’s West Bend thinning project efforts have shifted to sections along The Cascade Lakes Highway by green gate, closing a small section of Storm King on the south side of the highway, as well as continued weekday closure of a section of Grand Slam.  Trail access restrictions on Catch & Release have been lifted.

There are many organizations contributing to the awesomeness of Central Oregon and the Central Oregon Trail Alliance (COTA) is one of them. This is a local 100% volunteer organization dedicated to preserving, maintaining and improving trails in our backyard.
