Northwest and Summit Opening Today? Hopefully!!!

Quick alert to the posting on the Mt. Bachelor conditions page. They are attempting to open Northwest and Summit today before the next storm system arrives this afternoon. Here’s what they had to say. Check the link in weather page for more info.

“After yesterday’s opening of Cloudchaser and Outback lifts following the big weekend storm, we’re looking to expand the lift and terrain openings today with the addition of Northwest and Summit lifts. This is assuming the wind and visibility permit, of course. A brief survey mission yesterday revealed outstanding snow to ski or ride on Summit’s east & southeast flanks. From Healy Heights to Cow’s Face, the descent lines will be plenty. Again, let’s hope the weather allows us get up there and enjoy it. More info on this as the morning progresses.”
