Natural History Pub: Eagles and Us

Posted on in categories Event , Film

Join Joe and Cordi Atkinson for a discussion of falconry, raptor rehabilitation and the challenges eagles face. For over 20 years, these master falconers have used falconry training to help rehabilitators prepare young golden eagles for life in the wild. They also care for three non releasable golden eagles that have been featured in programs aired on PBS, the BBC, National Geographic and others. In 2015, they trained the world’s rarest eagle, the Philippine eagle, as part of a documentary highlighting its critically endangered status. More INFO HERE!
