Lucky in NV - The Tahoe Blue Experience

On another long loop through the west this summer, we happened to hit a perfect day in Lake Tahoe.  Although it’s not strictly in Bend’s “backyard”, it’s also just a few hours away, and has some magic of it’s own.  Here’s ten minutes from our 24 hours of perfect Blue in Lake Tahoe.  Incline Village is  a perfect place to get on the lake, and get your Flume shuttle on.  an easy self driven, or commercial shuttle takes you to a five mile climb, and the most incredible trail along an old flume above the Lake.  A “Must do” Mt biking and Stand Up Paddling destination..
