Effective Wednesday, May 9, 2018, a section of Lower Storm King trail will be closed for logging and mastication efforts from junction 34 (Funner/Tiddly/SK junction) towards FS 41, with trail detour set in place.
– Trail detour: at junction 34, riders rerouted on short section of Tiddlywinks to power line road, tying back in to Storm King near FS 41.
– Closed Monday-Friday. Open weekends, federal holidays, evenings after 5pm.
– Funner, Tiddlywinks, Larsons and Tyler’s are not affected by this closure.

The good news is the closed section of Grand Slam affected by logging is nearing completion and should be open fairly soon.
