Holiday Film Series & Toy Drive at the Tower Theatre for the Ronald McDonald House

Next up in the film series is the animated classic, Polar Express!  Tom Hanks and director Robert Zemeckis (“Forrest Gump”; “Cast Away”) reunite for “Polar Express,” an inspiring adventure based on the beloved children’s book by Chris Van Allsburg. When a doubting young boy takes an extraordinary train ride to the North Pole, he embarks on a journey of self-discovery that shows him that the wonder of life never fades for those who believe.

This special screening benefits the Bend Ronald McDonald House:
The Bend Radio Group and the Tower Theatre Foundation have joined with Ronald McDonald House Charities to collect gifts for families with seriously ill children. This holiday season the goal is to fill the Bend House’s “Treasure Chest”.  Every child served by the Ronald McDonald House gets to pick a toy from the Treasure Chest, regardless of the time of year. This toy drive will help keep the Treasure Chest full all year and lift kids’ spirits while they’re far from home.​​
