Holiday Film Series & Toy Drive at the Tower Theatre for the Ronald McDonald House

Next up in the film series is the hilarious Scrooged starring Bill Murray!  In this modern take on Charles Dickens’ “A Christmas Carol,” Frank Cross (Bill Murray) is a wildly successful television executive whose cold ambition and curmudgeonly nature has driven away the love of his life, Claire Phillips (Karen Allen). But after firing a staff member, Eliot Loudermilk (Bobcat Goldthwait), on Christmas Eve, Frank is visited by a series of ghosts who give him a chance to re-evaluate his actions and right the wrongs of his past.

This special screening benefits the Bend Ronald McDonald House:
The Bend Radio Group and the Tower Theatre Foundation have joined with Ronald McDonald House Charities to collect gifts for families with seriously ill children. This holiday season the goal is to fill the Bend House’s “Treasure Chest”.  Every child served by the Ronald McDonald House gets to pick a toy from the Treasure Chest, regardless of the time of year. This toy drive will help keep the Treasure Chest full all year and lift kids’ spirits while they’re far from home.

Bring an unwrapped toy to help seriously ill children and for your chance to win cool prizes!
