Earth Day Fair & Parade - Sat April 21

Join The Environmental Center for a fun and festive celebration of the natural world! The festivities kick off with a colorful, creative parade filled with children and adults costumed as their favorite plant or animal. B Side Brass Band and three Earth Guardian puppets will lead the parade through Downtown Bend. Here’s the scoop:
11:00 am: Assemble on Louisiana Ave. next to McMenamin’s
11:30 am: Parade starts (about 8 blocks)
No motorized vehicles or written words allowed in the parade. Well-behaved dogs on leashes are allowed.
Make your own costume for the parade! We encourage you to organize a costume-making workshop with your school, club, church, etc. Check out these upcoming costume workshops:
Following the parade, enjoy live music from Broken Down Guitars and a street fair featuring local businesses, nonprofits and food carts. Head over to Troy Field for the Kid’s Zone with interactive games for all ages. Our garden will be buzzing with activities, and The Energy Challenge is organizing an Electric Vehicle Ride & Drive in the parking lot!
