Deschutes and Crook Counties Move to 'Extreme Risk' for COVID Starting Friday April 30

Deschutes and Crook counties will join Jefferson county in the COVID Extreme Risk category starting Friday April 30th. State metrics for case counts were reached this week and with the change the counties will see new restrictions. The new classifications come with revised outdoor capacity limits for bars and restaurants in the state, which will be increased in “Extreme Risk” counties from 50 to 120 patrons.

Below is specific guidelines for Bars, Restaurants, Breweries & Wineries.

Indoor dining allowed
Takeout highly recommended
Indoor capacity: not to exceed 25% maximum occupancy or 50 people, whichever is smaller
Outdoor dining allowed
Outdoor capacity: 120 people maximum, including individual dining pods.
Individual dining pods allowed outdoors subject to outdoor capacity limit.
Indoor and outdoor seating: 6 people per party and per table maximum, limit 2 households
