Chinook Return To Land Trust Protected Lands On Whychus Creek

Some good news regarding efforts to restore Whychus Creek aquatic habitat and have Chinook Salmon return to this Deschutes River tributary. The Deschutes Land Trust together with the Confederated Tribes of Warm Springs and PG&E made efforts over 10 years ago to protect and restore the headwaters where Chinook traditionally have spawned for generations. This effort seems to be paying off.
