Central Cascades Permit Presentation with the US Forest Service

Day use and overnight permits are coming to the Central Cascades. How many will be issued? How much will they cost? Why are they doing this?

There are lots of questions swirling around how this is going to work, so join us for clarity as Lisa Machnik, Staff Officer for Recreation, Lands, Partnerships, and Heritage and Kevin Larkin, District Ranger of the Bend-Ft. Rock Ranger District, give a presentation on the permit process and answer any questions you may have. Deschutes Trails Coalition will be on hand to talk about volunteer opportunities, and Deschutes Brewing will be providing refreshments.

Please bring a cup from home, no single use plastic glasses will be provided.
