    Oregon brewery received Sustainability Leadership Award in the international 2016 Sustainability Awards Program

    December 13, 2016 – Bend, Oregon – The Business Intelligence Group named Deschutes Brewery as a global sustainability leader today as part of the 2016 Sustainability Awards program. The Sustainability Awards honor those people, teams and organizations who have made sustainability an integral part of their business practice or overall mission.

    The best place to get yourself ready for the upcoming winter season is the Skyliners Ski Swap, October 15th at the Ice Pavilion, 1001 SW Bradbury Way!  You can check your gear in on October 14th (1 day only)  from 9 a.m.-5 p.m. if you would like for us to try and sell it for you.  Or you can just come to the swap on October 15th, from 8 a.m.-5 p.m. to buy gear and soft goods at unbelievable prices!  Or do both.  Or just come to be part of the tradition!  Thanks to 92.9, they will be there nourishing the early birds with coffee and donuts.

    The Sheridan fire has been downsized to 169 acres and 10 percent contained. More work on the fire lines today. The cause of the fire remains under investigation.
