C. O. Nordic Club Trail Work Party Sat July 21

The volunteers of the Central Oregon Nordic Club (CONC) are preparing our ski and snowshoe trails for winter and need your help!

The Sat July 21 work party at Edison Sno-Park will involve brushing ski and a snowshoe trails, installing more trail markers as needed, and restaining the AC/DC Shelter. Pine Mountain Sports is in need of about 16 folks for this work and CONC will furnish at least 4 crew leaders.

Meet at Pine Mountain Sports at 9:15A and we’ll carpool up to Edison, leaving the store by 9:30A. If you are leaving your car in town, please park in the neighborhood behind the store on 15th, or across the street in the old Ray’s parking lot (behind McDonalds).

We’ll work for a few hours, break for lunch (CONC will furnish lunch for everyone at Edison), and then work a few more hours. We plan to be back at Pine Mountain Sports around 3:30P.

NOTE: All trailwork party participants must wear long pants, shirts with long sleeves, work gloves, sturdy footwear, and a hard hat (or bike/ski helmet). Bring a small pack with water, snacks, and extra clothing.
